New! 02.07.16
1967?: GBC CTC-5000 Vidicon Studio Camera!
.
Here we have a mid 1970s
studio style B/W vidicon camera. It uses a one inch vidicon tube and has
a five inch CRT viewfinder. Circuitry is all solid state. The lens is a
an f-2.0, 14 mm to 70 mm zoom with manual iris control. The camera probably
has a wide range ALC (Automatic Light Control) making it very simple to
operate. It plugged into the VTR or Special Effects Generator by way of
a multi-pin DIN connector when external sync mode was desired. This camera
is in poor condition, but is an excellent representative of the state of
the art of low budget video studios of the time.
NEEDED: A service / operator's manual for this camera.
